You may have seen the display and collection box and display on campus already (hard to miss all that decor)! This month we're coming together to give back to our community and fundraise for Share the Dignity.
Share the dignity raise funds and provide basic sanitary needs to women in need around Australia. 1 in 8 adults and 1 in 6 children are living in poverty in Australia, that's 3.2 million Australians.
So this is
our chance to make a difference with the #itsinthebag campaign.#ItsInTheBag is
Share the Dignity's annual event where we encourage everyday Australians to put
together bags filled with essential items, to donate to someone in need.
We can
contribute by donating items from the 3 essentials lists to create the
donations bags or by donating already filled bags by October 26th. We will have
a collection point on campus that anyone can contribute to and aim to fill 10
