As announced this morning, from 1am Tuesday 29 June 2021, increased restrictions will be brought in for people living in South East Queensland in the following Local Government Areas (LGAs):
- Noosa
- Sunshine Coast
- Ipswich
- Logan
- Redlands
- Moreton Bay
- Brisbane
- Gold Coast
- Scenic Rim
- Lockyer Valley
- Somerset
Restrictions from 1am Tuesday 29 June South East Queensland
- Face masks are required whenever you leave home including on public transport, in taxis and rideshares, in shopping centres, supermarkets, hospitals, aged care facilities, restaurants and cafes, churches, and indoor workplaces (where social distancing isn't possible)
- You must be seated when eating or drinking at a cafe or restaurant
- Private gatherings: 30 people maximum including residents, visitors and children
- All indoor settings: 1 person per 4 square metres or 100% capacity with ticketed and allocated seating
- Weddings: up to 100 people with 1 person per 4 square metres, limited to 20 people dancing at any one time
- Funerals: up to 100 people with 1 person per 4 square metres
- Residential aged care facilities, disability accommodation services and hospitals will have increased visitor restrictions.
- From 1am Tuesday 29 June, if you have been in South East Queensland, face masks are required whenever you leave home including on public transport, in taxis and rideshares, in shopping centres, supermarkets, hospitals, aged care facilities, restaurants and cafes, churches, and indoor workplaces (where social distancing isn't possible).
- All indoor settings: 1 person per 2 square metres, or 100 per cent capacity with ticketed and allocated seating
- Private gatherings: limited to a maximum of 100 people
- Indoor wedding ceremonies and funerals: 1 person per 2 square metres or 200 people (whichever is greater) or 100 per cent capacity with ticketed and allocated seating.
